"The NEW Short Sale Rules for 2010"

No Classes Are Scheduled at this Time

Starting in 2010 a significant portion of all short sales will be subject to the new standardized rules and forms just issued by the federal government through the US Treasury Department's Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program. This program is intended to expedite and standardize the short sale process through uniform rules, timeframes and forms

This seminar is not an introduction to short sales class. It is intended for agents who already have short sale experience and want to learn about the new government program and how it will change their existing short sale practice.

This program will be taught by Lance Churchill only one time this year. The class will be limited to the first 50 who sign up. Get a jump on your competition by being among the first agents to learn all about this new program and how it will apply to future short sales.

A Comprehensive Seminar that will cover the following:

*The difference between the HAMP and HAFA programs and when each must be considered.

*The criteria for borrowers to be eligible for the new federal program

*The new short sale process from beginning to end.

*How to calculate the Net Present Value (NPV) of a short sale.

*What investor guidelines will still apply in conjunction with the new rules.

*What factors could cause your short sale listing to be terminated.

*The rules for listing and pricing the short sale property.

*The new incentives for borrowers and lenders to participate in the program.

*What information will be required in the short sale package.

*When it is better for a borrower to agree to a Loan Modification or a Deed-in-Lieu of Foreclosure.

*When a foreclosure will be suspended and for how long

At This Seminar You Will Also:

* Receive and review copies of the borrower's Hardship Affidavit and Financial worksheet.

*Receive and review copies of the correspondence and program explanation that the borrowers will receive

*Receive and review copies of the new standardized form Short Sale Agreement (SSA) and Request for Approval of Short Sale (RASS).

*Learn and understand the conditions and terms in the new forms.
